Assam Employment Exchange has initiated the online re-registration process, requiring job seekers already registered in the exchange to re-register online. The announcement was made by Assam’s Skills, Employment, and Entrepreneurship Minister, Jayanta Mallabaruah, during a press conference. This facility will be available throughout January and February.

To re-register, candidates can use the Sewasetu portal (sewasetu.assam.gov.in) or the Employment Exchange website (employment.assam.gov.in). The online re-registration system started on January 2 and will be operational until February 29.

Minister Jayanta Mallabarua emphasized the importance of this process, stating that it seeks additional information from already registered youth. The government has an existing memorandum of understanding with Naukri.com, and discussions with other agencies are underway. The aim is to ensure that Assam’s youth receive information about job opportunities across India. The government plans to advertise this initiative through various media channels to raise awareness among the public.
