On June 24th, Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu announced that due to the current flood situation in Assam, Assam Combined Entrance Examination 2022 would be postponed to July 31st, 2022. Earlier it was scheduled for July 3rd 2022.
In this regard, the governing body of the Assam CEE examination also released an official notification about the postponement. In the official notice, ASTU told that because of the current flood situation in Assam, the date and timing of the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2022 is rescheduled for July 31st, (Sunday), 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM instead of July 3rd, 2022 to 09:30 AM to 12:30 AM.

About Assam CEE Examination –
Assam Combined Entrance Examination, Commonly known as Assam CEE Examination, is a state-government-controlled centralized entrance examination conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University for admission into the 7 premier government engineering colleges in Assam.
The test is taken after the 12th grade for admission to graduation (also known as bachelor’s) courses. The exam can be taken by those who studied Pure Science stream in plus two levels with the specific subjects tested in the Examination: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
Every year approximately 25,000 people take the Examination, and it is increasing. Assam Higher Secondary Education Council students and the Central Board of Secondary Education board take the test.
