AHSEC to promote all HS 1st year students – Here’s why?

On June 9th, Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, in an official notification (AHSEC/EXB/II/47/18/19-20/272), requests all the heads of the institutes under AHSEC to promote all the students to HS 2nd year, who had appeared partially or completely or filled up Examination form but bot appeared in the examination.

AHSEC took the description to promote all the students from HS 1st year to the next year, keeping in view the unanticipated natural calamities that occurred during the examination schedule and other factors.

Due to the flood situation in the state Assam Higher Secondary Education Council decided to promote all the students in HS 1st year.

It is noteworthy that, as many as 7.18 lakh people in 27 districts of the state have been affected by the floods.
