75-ft High National Flag Hoisted At Narangi Military Station In Assam

On Saturday, a 75-foot-tall national flag was raised at Narangi Military Station in Guwahati, Assam.

Lt Gen R P Kalita, the general officer in charge of the Eastern Command, raised the tricolour.

The national flag has been flown in Sainik Park in the military station, funded by the NGO Flag Foundation of India.

Lt Gen Kalita commended the 51 Sub Area team—which includes Narangi Military Station—for completing the assignment.

He claimed that the national flag will inspire the staff to carry out their tasks with more zeal.

Maj Gen (retd) Ashim Kohli, CEO of the Flag Foundation of India, also attended the event.

The raising of the Tricolor was seen by soldiers and their families, NCC cadets, and by civilians.
