On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, Assam CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced a 4 percent increase in the DA of state officers, employees, and All India Service officers. The CM announced on his Twitter account.
Taking to Twitter, Assam CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said – I am pleased to announce that the DA of State Officers and Employees and All India Service Officers has been increased by 4%. The increase will come into effect from July 1, 2022.
Happy to announce 4% additional Dearness Allowance for State Govt employees/All India Service Officers w.e.f. 1st July, 2022, payable with this month’s salary.

In another tweet, the Chief Minister wished all the people of the state a very happy Diwali and Kali Puja, the festival of lights. The Chief Minister hoped that this festival of lights would illuminate the colors of life and spread joy and enthusiasm from house to house.
